Stewart Cairns has been a professional photographer since 1995 when he began shooting book covers for Harper Collins Publishers in New York City.

 

He worked as a staff photographer at The Register-Star newspaper in Hudson, New York, where he earned two Associated Press Awards for Sports and Feature photography.

 

Stewart has been a regular contributor to The New York Times and Associated Press since 2003 and has worked with numerous other clients including The Wall Street Journal, New York Daily News, Newsday, The Baltimore Sun, Penguin Books, Adirondack Life, Berkshire Life, and CoStar Group. 

 

Stewart also has extensive experience producing architectural and real estate photography for both commercial and residential clients. 

 

Based in Western Massachusetts, Stewart accepts commercial, editorial, and event assignments throughout the Northeast United States.
